The furnaces of the model AK with useful chamber sizes 30 – 600 liters with max. temperatures of 950 °C are equipped with a strong recirculation fan. Due to this recirculation fan, fast heating and a uniform temperature distribution are reached. LHT’s AK furnaces are used for annealing, tempering and glowing. Special sizes up to several cubic meters useful chamber are possible. Additive Manufacturing (Rapid Prototyping, Rapid Tooling, 3D printing): Especially smaller sizes like AK 30 and AK 40 are used for annealing of additive manufactured parts by 3-D printers. The optional gas purging and housing of the outer insulation layers enable to suppress scaling to a large extent.
In case of sensitive materials, annealing and tempering is carried out in protective gas furnaces.
Therefore, LHT protective gas furnaces of the model VMK-S, useful chamber 2,6 – 15 liters and model KS-S, useful chamber 70 – 460 liters, can be used. Both models can be used for temperatures above 1050 °C (1100 °C VMK-S, 1200°C KS-S) with protective gas. Mainly, it is worked under inert gas with hydrogen contents < 5 % and in case of more oxidation-sensitive components with 100 % hydrogen or cracked gas. For latter, the furnaces are equipped with the standard options gas-feeding device, burning-off device and safety package.
For optimization of production lines, it is often necessary to work in continuous furnaces. Therefore, Linn manufactures small and medium size continuous belt furnaces up to 1150 °C.
The furnaces of the model HK with useful chamber sizes 30 – 600 liters with max. temperatures of 1200 °C (optionally 1300 °C for high speed steels) are used for hardening, normalizing and other heat treatments. Special sizes up to several cubic meters useful chamber are possible. The optional gas purging and housing of the outer insulation layers enable to suppress scaling to a large extent.
For the inductive tempering, Linn manufactures high and middle frequency generators. The standard power range for the high frequency units is between 1.2 – 10 kW, special designs up to 100 kW. Middle frequency generators are built as standard units from 10 kW to 200 kW and max. up to 1000 kW. Inductors and quenching showers are also manufactured by LHT.
Automated units, e. g. for hardening of waves, are also included in the product range of LHT.
