For gas carburizing and carbonitriding furnaces of the model series KS-S, 60 – 460 liter useful chamber, max. temperature 1050 °C are used. Special sizes up to 2 m³ are possible.
For this application these protective gas tight furnaces are equipped with gas circulation and the necessary connection for the needed gases as well as safety devices for flammable gases (hydrogen, ammonia and CO). The switch and control unit, depending on the application, will be extended by sensors and modules for determination of the nitriding, coal making and oxygen index so that gas carburizing and carbonitriding processes can be carried out with optimized gas and energy consumption.
