40 % share on slovenian induction furnace manufacturer "INDUKTIO"

Linn High Therm, since 35 years a leading manufacturer of industrial and laboratory furnaces / kilns, took over 40 % of the Slovenian induction furnace manufacturer PI & B on 1st January 2004.

The new name of the company is INDUKTIO. The company produces medium frequency industrial inverter for induction heating of electrically conductive materials, above all for hardening, annealing, forging, soldering and brazing, welding, melting and heating. With extremly reactive power they are most suitable for the heating of highly conductive materials (Al, Cu, Ag etc.) and non magnetic metals. For example soldering processes for Al-Al tube connections (Al-Cu, too) were developed and realized successfully.

The MF-output power is up to 250 kW and the nominal working frequency from 2 up to 100 kHz. Complete automatic production lines with robot or handling systems are offered with partners.

The company produces also high frequency generators on semiconductor- and tube / valve technology from 100 kHz to 27,12 MHz with power from 5 to 100 kW on customer specifications.

The control and supervision is effected by Simatic S7, which allows an easy integration into production lines and processes. Depending on the country the distribution is made by INDUKTIO or Linn High Therm and their agents in over 40 countries.
